Description
Professional Business Writing seminars are customized in length and content to fit each company’s needs. Classes are taught in half-day sessions and are designed for up to 20 participants. All participants may submit real samples of writing for confidential critique. Participant booklets are duplicated by clients and are included in the seminar fee. Seminars can be four, eight, or twelve hours long. Sessions are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and all day on Fridays.
Sessions topics include:
• Business Grammar Review—The correctness of a message creates a powerful and lasting image of a company. Participants learn and practice correct word usage, sentence construction, and punctuation.
• Effective Business Writing Style— Ensure every piece of writing—whether emails, memos, letters, reports or any other type of business writing—is being clearly understood and achieving its desired result. Topics discussed include guidelines for organizing quickly, writing simply and concisely, avoiding common communication mistakes, and creating reader-friendly and persuasive pieces.
